Twenty Universal Laws (2) The Law of Reincarnation and Karma

Universal Law (2) : The Law of Reincarnation and Karma

Until you have resolved your Karma and fulfilled your Dharma, which are the deeds you must do, you will continue to reincarnate into sequential lifetime upon the earth.

Neither God nor the Lords of Karma bestow suffering upon you during these lives, you and you alone decide what you most need to learn and in your earthly sojourns, and for each life experience you seek out other souls, often with shared histories, and always with Karmic configurations matching your needs.

Whenever you act with intention you create Karma. Actions are considered to be thoughts, emotions, words and deeds, and the motive, desire and intent behind each. Disharmonious acts must be balanced in the future in this life or in a future lifetime, to have Soul growth.

 Hello Blogger,

Here we are again, the second Universal Law.  Like the first Universal Law of Harmony only foreeeeeever.  Yes, the idea that we reincarnate for all eternity until we have resolved our Karma, and fulfilled our Dharma.

Sounds reasonable.  Although it doesn't really, does it, the idea that we just keep repeating the same exercise of life over and over again.  The idea that we can even complete our Dharma is also just another vague ideal which surely is virtually impossible to attain.

HinduismJainismBuddhism, and Sikhism all have the idea of dharma at their core, where it points to the purification and moral transformation of human beings.

Hmm.  Right there, the 'moral transformation' of human beings.  Whose morals?  One man's meat is another man's poison and all that.  Still, at least the theory gives some structure to the purpose of life and by increasing our awareness and knowledge that all actions create Karma, perhaps it helps bring meaning to life, the knowledge that no action is ever wasted.

I wonder if we really have sought each other out before we incarnated. I do love the idea that we have sought out other souls with shared histories.  We haven't just been here together in this lifetime, we have been here together over and over again.  Sometimes we played the villain, sometimes we played the victim, sometimes the perpetrator, sometimes the healer, and always with shared interests in each other's repaying Karma and fulfilling our Darma.

Lovely.  What a wonderful idea. The pain has a purpose.  Every experience we are living through, we have chosen this path.  I wonder at the restrictions in place before we step out on our life journey. I often think people who are severely restricted (ie disabled, physically, mentally or emotionally) are on a higher spiritual path than mere mortals who are only here for the money!  Yes, the path of restriction must promote a life experience with so many obstacles to overcome. Or sometimes not overcome, because some obstacles are insurmountable, but just to accept the situation, knowing that every day is adding to your spiritual bank account.  An opportunity to share love, compassion, grace and understanding.  A restrictive life also offers the opportunity for enhanced empathy with others, to the level which some people are not even aware exists.

So, I am thankful for Universal Law Number Two for reminding me that whatever the Karmic repayment or balance is being enacted, there is always room to empathise with others in the same (or worse) situation.

Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

Tamasin x
