Being in the right place at the right time is becoming a habit

A fortuitious, synchronistic set of circumstances came together yesterday.  I have another blog www.chirpychirpycheepcheep.blogspot.co.uk where I share the experiences I have on my Avon travels.

An Avon delivery, a friend who lives in Park Street and a muggy, slightly overcast, threatening rain from gathering clouds in Southend.  Ignoring the likelihood of showers, looking on the bright side, better an hour sitting on a picnic blanket in a park where there could be a chance of a breeze rather than sitting indoors.  A conversation ensues that revolves around the Avon brochures being delivered to Park Street, no, they haven't had a book for at least two campaigns.  Hmm, this means, really, that Park Street isn't being covered by a Rep.  As we sit chatting a woman passes through the park, she knows my friend, another little chat, she lives in Cambridge Road and she was stopped about a month ago to see if she wanted to be an Avon Rep.  Hmm, so this is Park Street and Cambridge Road come to my attention.  Okay then.

I head off to catch the last hour of an Olympic Avon event which has been held at the Energie Gym above the Post Office.  Meeting up with my Area Sales Manager for the first time and explaining the problems I have had with the road I was given, my Sales Manager says she will look into it for me.  As we are talking about the areas, a woman who just happens to be walking past reception says 'my daughter is going back to Uni soon, she has a round, but she never does it, she just sells to people she knows'

'really?' I enquire 'where is her round?'

'Park Street and Cambridge Road'.

'There you go' my Sales Manager says 'you can have those roads'.

I couldn't even share with them the fact that I have just been sitting in a park with a woman who lives in Park Street and having a chat with a woman who lives in Cambridge Road.  I just gracefully accept my new territory and make a mental note that I don't need to knock at number 20, because that is the house where this helpful stranger lives.

Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.
