Twenty Universal Law (14) : The Universal Law of Resistance

The Universal Law of Resistance

That which you resist you draw to you, and you will perpetuate its influence upon your life.

Resistance is fear, so it is something you need to Karmically resolve.

The Law of Resistance assures that you let go of the fear by encountering it until you are forced to deal with it by learning conscious detachment.

Hello Blogger,

Eek, I am behind with my writing and peering into the twenty Universal Laws!  Isn't it amazing how time just seems to slip away from us when we are busy and involved in something. I don't suppose it really matters what that 'something' is, as long as we are fully engrossed, we look up and voila, a few days have passed by and before we know it we have moved on.

My little moving on this week has been through a process of learning, travelling up North to Birmingham, spending two days overnight at a hotel, two days in a Training Academy to learn about Beds and all things Bed related.  I can completely understand how your resistance can keep you stuck in a situation. A vibrational state of fear is an unpleasant way to spend a day.  Who would want to? And obviously, there are some things which are genuine fears, in fact, fear is worthy of a blog all by itself.  Resistance can be fear, it can also be created not just by fear but by resignation, giving up of expecting anything better, ignorance that life can improve, that there can be a nicer, more pleasant vibration to experience.

But, for the purposes of this 'little look' into the Law of Resistance, 'that which you resist you draw to you and you will perpetuate its influence upon your life'.

Yes, I am sure we have all have these experiences and we find ourselves doing things which are sort of like a form of self-sabotage.  For instance, we choose to park our car somewhere that gives us a free hour. We tell ourselves that we can get the shopping done in an hour and eyt in our mind we have a vision of a traffic warden writing a ticket.  What happens?  We are rushing around doing our shopping, resisting the parking ticket.  Naturally, there will be something which prevents us from returning within the hour and there will be a parking ticket waiting for us on the windshield.  This may appear to be common sense, logic and preventable, and maybe it is, just stupidity to take a risk.  Or maybe, by applying the Law of Resistance, we can see how this scenario has come about.  The person parked in the next car has learnt to release any fear, there is no resistance in their world. They are shopping with conscious detachment. There will be nothing getting in their way of returning to the car before the parking ticket runs out.

Yes, I can see completely how the latter experience would be more preferable.  The knowledge that our own resistance and fear of ....x,y or z, can make the situation worse is actually good news. It means we have the power to try and change to make the experience better simply by letting go of the fear and carrying on regardless.

Letting go of my own fear of never having any time to myself again...

Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

Tamasin x
