Angels. I cannot remember the last time I blogged about Angels. I am sure I have dropped my beliefs about Angels into my blogs. I fear I may have been a little remiss by not mentioning Angels as often as I should.
Perhaps it is because Angels are in my life a lot. I communicate with Angels when I am reminded of them. Which is naughty, really, isn't it? Like only speaking to a friend when you need something. I am making a new promise, to blog about the experience, no matter how small the reminder, whenever an Angel notice wends into my world.
When I say Angel 'notice', I mean something that brings my attention to Angels and their presence. These are the same notifications for everyone. A quick search of google and you will find people all over the world who consider the arrival of unexpected feathers to be a sign from Angels. Some people notice pennies on their path, or coins of any denomination. In the UK the 5p is the smallest coin and being silver in colour it often shows up on my path. It was this 5p yesterday, blogger, that reminded me of my spiritual connection with my Mum.
My Mum lives three hundred miles away, I saw her last year and I am trying to arrange to see her this year, but, literally, years can go by when we aren't able to see each other. In the meantime we write, using snail mail, which, to be fair, is actually quite quick. I write to her about my little world and the goings on and she writes back with pictures she has drawn or poems she has written, about my life. Which is lovely. The 5p started showing up in her world and then mine, usually during the same week. My Mum takes this as a message from someone specific in spirit, her Dad, my Granddad. So, now I too am enjoying the 5ps showing up.
What has this got to do with Angels? Well, my Mum has been ill this year, she has now been diagnosed with Essential Tremor, which is an unpleasant shaking, made worse by caffeine, stress, anger, all the things that she has suffered from for many years. My Mum always asks Angel Raphael for help, he is the Angel who helps with healing our physical complaints. I recently walked past a shop with a beautiful Angel book in the window all about Angel Raphael. I was guided/pushed to buy the book and post it to my Mum. She was over the moon to receive this book through the post. She had been asking Raphael for help, specifically that Angel, and the same week, I sent her a book in the mail. I didn't know she has been praying and asking Raphael for help, she hadn't told me she was suffering, and not being on her doorstep, I wasn't to know. So, I am glad I was guided to send the book and I send prayers of gratitude not just for the author who put the book together, but to the publishers who created such a beautiful work of art which offers hope and love to anybody fortunate enough to browse the pretty coloured artwork and be able to read the beautiful words.
Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

Angels on my path
It feels like a while since I have blogged about a sequence of coincidences. You know, the sort of coincidences that I feel are meaningful and worthy of blogging about. Of course, all coincidences are worth a mention. Even the little ones that are just so obscure as to not really count, you know, like the lady at Church who went down to Devon for an Easter break, turns out she went to Brixham, which is where my mum lives. Lovely little coincidences like that serve to remind me that we are all connected. But no, the sort of coincidence I am talking about are the ones where they just pile up, as if they have been waiting to drop themselves at your feet all in one go.
Well, I had one of those little pile-ups yesterday. It was Saturday and the weather was forecast for Sun. There is only one place to be in Southend when the Sun is shining and that is down the seafront. Although, by the time I left home it was a bit chilly, it wasn't even warm enough for sandals, never mind about beachwear. Having just secured myself another part-time job, I needed to go shop hunting for a new blouse. First day at a new job and training with complete strangers, feels like the first day of school and there is nothing like showing up in new clothes to boost your confidence.
So, having resigned myself to a beach free day, I strode along the seafront anyway. Mentally calculating the calories and checking off a few more ounces. I have recently been reading a book about Angels, a lovely book, offering personal experiences of Angelic encounters and spirit matters Gifts from Angels (by Chrissie Astell). One of the phrases in this pleasing little book stuck in my mind 'messenger of God', yes, Angels, communicators of spirit. As I was enjoying the sea air and the general buzz along the seafront, the smell of freshly cooking doughnuts and the squeal of the ever hopeful seagulls, I was walking and contemplating how spirit communicate with us, the ways they make themselves known to us using urban signs and daily events when I noticed a van parked in front of me. The sign on the van was of a lovely winged horse. 'Pegasus'. They had made the wings extra prominent. 'How lovely' I thought to myself. Yes, I would trust a removal firm who used the emblem of Pegasus.
On reaching my destination, having made the 2.2. mile walk to Southend and hiked up steps to get back to the main town I found myself in the centre of a young couple who were debating where they needed to go. I looked at him, to her, I gave them my best questioning expression
'Looking for somewhere?'
'Yes, the .......hotel' the young lady said. I had never heard of it. 'It's in Church Road' she clarified.
I do love being asked for directions and although I had never heard of the hotel they were looking for I enjoyed the idea that they were looking for Church Road. Calling up the google map, I confirmed where they were in relation to their hotel and packed them off in the right direction. Lovely.
Reaching my destination and meandering around TK Maxx, having a slight detour from the blouse section, I found myself standing in front of an Angel Candle. Yes, it smelt angelic and gave me another little lift for the day. I hadn't intended to wander around the home goods area, I had just been drawn over there. It was probably the smell of the candles that drew me in!
Finishing my shopping and with clouds darkening overhead, I decided it was time to head for home. Being asked for directions to Church Road, the Pegasus Sign and the Angelic candle were such pleasing additions to my shopping expedition, I wasn't expecting anything else to happen on the way home. But, I was wrong.
As I was passing a really popular Pizza parlour I noticed their daily special 'Angelic Pizza' (only 600 calories), I was only too pleased to take a picture to share with my blog. As I put my phone away a lady walked up to me tapping me on the arm
'Hello' she said.
She was wearing giant sunglasses that covered most of her recognisable features, ie her eyes, eyebrows and cheekbones. I had to admit I didn't recognise her, I asked her to remove her shades. I knew her immediately once she showed her face. An old co-student from Counselling College. We had gone to evening classes once a week for the best part of a year. We had a chat and a catch up, she suggested linking up on facebook, I agreed and gave her my phone number. As she tapped my number into her phone she had to admit she couldn't remember my name. We shared a laugh and I confessed I didn't know hers.
'Angela' she said 'it means Angel - messenger of God'.
What a great day.
Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

An Angel by any other name
Good Friday began early, my warring neighbours slam doors as part of their habitual welcome to the day (personally, I prefer a cup of tea). So, finding myself at a loose end, earlier than expected, on Good Friday, I headed out for a little walk. A stretch of my legs led me to the Spiritualist Church in Leigh. Not my usual haunt, and my first visit to this Church ever on an Easter weekend.
I was half expecting a demonstration of mediumship and clairvoyance, but, as it turned out, during Holy week, the congregation meet up for a religious service. A sermon, delivered by a traditional preacher having a passionate speech from the pulpit, some hymns and a general celebration of the life of Jesus. Of course, this included the story of the Archangel Gabriel who came to Mary with the message about the Son of God. It has been a while since I have heard anyone speak of the Angel messenger.
I enjoyed the service, it made a pleasant way to spend my Easter Friday morning. Not really in any rush to go home, I went for a stroll in the park. Sitting in my favourite, quiet spot, breathing in the smell of freshly mown grass, listening to the birdsong of robins and blackbirds chatting about whatever it is that concerns birds in parks. I was quietly contemplating how spending time in nature is just as spiritual as having a communication from spirit through a medium. Watching squirrels tearing around at breakneck speed, the crows perched on the top of the tallest trees, themselves watching the seagulls resting on the roof of the monastery.
A young man strolled through the arched gateway, pushing a beautiful smiling baby in a pushchair. I smiled back at the dimples bobbing in his buggy, drawing his Dad my way. Striking up conversation with the American Dad having a tourist moment, travelling through the park for the first time, I discovered the little cherub was called Gabriel.
I silently thanked Spirit for reminding me that there is no such thing as coincidence and how Spirit bring messages in many shapes and sizes, even in the form of baby names!
Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

Guardian Angels disguised as Police Cars
Let me tell you a little story, one that begins with no sugar.
No story that starts without sugar can be any good. No good can come of a sugar free kitchen. It was to this end that I decided, after dark, way after teatime, and later than I should have done, to go out in search of some granulated white stuff.
On my way to the ever open convenience store, I text my friend who lives six roads away to say I was passing by and if she was free I would nip in for a cuppa. She was free, I popped round, a cup of tea and a natter, I headed home. It was about 7.30pm, not really too late, but this being November it was about as dark as it was going to get. I noticed up ahead that a gang of young hoodies were outside the sweetshop.
It was okay, there were two police cars nearby. One had flashing blue lights on. I walked confidently towards the group, straight through the middle and out the other side. All in one piece. As I passed them I glanced back towards the police car, just to be a bit nosy and see who they had put in it. There was no sign of the police car. I swear to you, the police car had evaporated into thin air. It can't have driven off, I would have seen it, it can't have driven past me without me noticing. It had just vanished.
I turned to face the direction of home and carried on walking, in a sort of foggy daze that something strange had just happened. I felt as though some Guardian Angel Police Cars had appeared to me, to give me added confidence, so the young hoodies would leave me alone. Which is exactly what happened.
Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.

'Spring' cleaning on the 1st May
I don't know what came over me today. I woke up refreshed, rearing to go, with ACTION written across my mind.
It started in the kitchen, cleaning the hob led to putting the rubbish out, wiping down all the surfaces and units and then of course the floor looked out of place. Another wash, dry and polish. Six hours later when there is not a surface untouched I have clean flooring in every room, hoovered carpets, a dust-free existence.
I use my son's old school shirts for dusters. When my son has finally worn a shirt out, or grown out of it, I keep it for dusters. I pulled a white shirt out from the bulging bag of socks and other worn out clothing from the cupboard under the sink and performed the ritual of chopping off little white buttons, which will come in useful. Oops, no, I may not need little white buttons again. This is the last year that my son will be wearing school shirts! I vaguely absorb this information as I cut his shirt up and make lovely little rags with which I am going to polish the laminate flooring to within an inch of its' life.
I polished my bedroom furniture and my deodorant flew under my bed. Digging around under the bed revealed a dusty a old bible and a law of attraction book. Maybe I should take this law of attraction stuff a little more seriously!
On my journey through our flat, leaving no dust-ridden stone unturned I found some useful articles that I had thought were gone forever. I found the umbrella that vanished after only one use. Mysteriously disappearing into the ether of our cluttery lives. I replaced the dull, business like brolly with a snazzy 'I love Rain' in the style of 'I heart rain' and being completely see-through always gives people a little smile as I proudly display my love of rain which is clearly a lie. Although I do love all sorts of inclement weather, when I am not walking in it.
I also found some guardian angel wishbags that appear to need some new homes. So, I have two umbrellas, four wish bags and a clean home. To me, this says I am going to be needing the brolly, possibly the sensible one for an interview in the rain and also that I will be receiving unexpected guests this week, who all clearly will be in need of a Guardian Angel wish bag.
To this end, I look forward to whoever shows up at my door this week and I wish love and light to everyone who needs it.

Writing for Pleasure - An Angel Card Reading for anyone who needs it xx
Writing for pleasure. Writing, just for the sake of it. This is what blogging is. I love to write. Do I have a responsibility to write words that other people will gain something from reading? Wasting other peoples lives writing about the trivia in my life? Is that fair? No, of course it isn't. So, as I sit down to write I know that I need to bring something in to this little blog that will benefit someone. Even if it is just one reader who needs the information. So, because of that I will open the Angel Cards and see what comes up. This card will be for someone who is looking for a transformation. There is someone reading my blog who needs a transformation.
I have no idea who it is, but if you can take something from this, feel free:
Okay, I have opened the Angel Cards, the three cards that have come up are Forgiveness, Power and Balance.
Forgiveness, the card that comes up for people when they are carrying hurt and pain from something that has happened in the past. Sometimes they may not be aware of the fact that this emotional baggage is still hurting them and by forgiving the person who has caused the pain, will allow a sense of freedom, lightness and health as the wasted energy is released. Not to say that the 'act' or the 'behaviour' has to be forgiven, just the person. To know that as a human being, whoever has been the cause of pain, needs to be let go. Let it Go. With Love. Know that as you move through your own path, the time will come when your own needs and emotional welfare are more important than a painful emotional history. Do not allow the past to destroy your future. Bring the painful, negative feelings in to the open. Heal them with awareness. Know that they brought you experience of life that you would never have been exposed to and they have made you a different person. The person you are today is as a result of all the experiences you have been through. To not want just one of those experiences, would make you someone else! eek! who do you want to be? you. Just you. With all your foibles, your idiosyncracies, there are people who love you because of your strange, weird and wonderful ways.
As you acknowledge the pain from the past and recognise where you have been held back you will come in to your own and regain the Power of your own Self that has been there all along. A healing of hearts, minds, physical strength and will power will put your whole sense of who you are and where you are going, back on the right track.
In order to bring you back into focus there needs to be a balance in your life, you know the drill, work, rest, play and study. Learning is a lifelong process, no matter how old you are. Work is necessary for you to be able to fulfill your own yearnings for achievement and progress, rest and play to restore your spiritual needs.

A silver ring and some stepping stones
Saturday. One day after declaring myself off the blogosphere. Well, I did say that I would blog about anything that mattered. I find it really hard to blog about readings and messages I have given, it is bordering on selling information that does not belong to me and everyone who gives readings says 'no, it is all in confidence', if the reading had been given in the public forum then it is okay, but a private reading should stay private.
I also have trouble not sharing information when it brings comfort to people. So, here is a little snippet, which I am justifying to myself as being valid for sharing, on the grounds that I am not sharing the identity of the person asking for a reading and I am changing the name of the road.
I sat with someone I have known for over ten years, we opened the Angel Cards and the tarot cards. As I sat with her in reading, which involved, me talking, her talking, me listening and also a link with spirit to bring through images and messages. A few of the images I picked up for her were recognisable and she could 'take' the things I gave to her. I also gave her the name Debbie and a Silver Ring. No, she couldn't take them. I also gave her Bournemouth and stepping stones. No, she couldn't take that. Okay, I give it to her anyway. After the reading, she has a little chat about her friend Debbie and how they have been to a jewellers to price up a white gold ring. Debbie? I say, silver ring? silver in colour. Oh yes! she says, of course. I didn't think of that.
The next day she sent me a text to say, 'did I say Bournemouth, stepping stones and footprints'? I recalled the Bournemouth and the stepping stones, but I cannot honestly say I remembered saying footprints. Anyway, she was viewing a house in Bournemouth Road and it had footprint shaped stepping stones all down the garden. I thank her for letting me know. Sweet.
What does this mean exactly. For me, I could have projected into her future life experience and pulled out details of her life; or, I could have been given the image by spirit. The image could confirm for her the meaning of the rest of her reading, depending on the meaning she gives to this information. Or have we just put the law of Attraction into play and rustled up a garden in a street with the right name, with stepping stones shaped like footprints?
Who knows. I enjoyed it. She enjoyed it. All that matters.

The power of comic relief. Funny works. This is how people manage to get through the horror of knowing that children are starving in Africa, dying from malaria as their Mothers watch. What is it for us to send £5.00? really? to be able to buy a malaria net and testing kits.
The distribution of wealth is stimulated by a Giant Red Nose. t is all so ridiculous and simple.
I love red nose day. I love the people who use their celebrity and fame to encourage altruism and awareness. The casting was brilliant.
There are Guardian Angels guiding all the shining stars.
I thank my Guardian Angel today that I am not living in Japan, or New Zealand or Africa. I also thank all the people who gave their time so freely and raised a magnificent amount of money.
Altruism lives.
Love and light to everyone who needs it xx

Dear Guardian Angels ....WTF just happened?
Changing Times. Saturday.
My life involves media images from Japan. An exploding nuclear reactor, an earthquake, a tsunami. I struggle to ask Guardian Angels for help for the people in Japan. It sounds so futile as I start to write an FB status:
Dear Guardian Angels, please help the people in Japan...
no, I can't write that, what sort of nonsense is that? thousands of people have died.
Dear Guardian Angels, thank you for allowing millions of people to live...
no, there is no way I can write that, it sounds so disrespectful to the people who weren't 'allowed' to live.
Where is the sense of it all? Is there a God who is decided who to save and who can be disposed of? Is it a disposal or collateral damage?
If ever there was a test of Faith or belief in a higher intelligence it has to be the awareness that human life is held with such little regard by nature. The power of this tsunami that has almost laughingly washed away Japanese efforts at defence against the elements.
Dear Guardian Angels, where are you? Are you really there watching over little children who are frightened and who have lost their homes and families today? Dear Guardian Angels, are you there helping people cope with the loss of their loved ones and their children? Dear Guardian Angels, if you cannot help people in the face of an earthquake and a tsunami, are you really there?
I am sure I can hear you say 'yes, my child' but why does there have to be so much loss of life, a meaningless waste that really renders life on earth just a futile joke against the power of the forces of nature.
Sorry, where were the Guardian Angels? helping spirit pass over? being there for the deaths of many souls? sorry, that just isn't good enough.
So, Guardian Angels cannot protect life? what can they do then. They can just be there. No-one dies alone. Every soul who passes through the veil is accompanied by a Guardian Angel.
Oh good. Sorry, sarcasm is dripping through my veins and belief and faith in spirit is diminishing by the hour.
Maybe we are just tiny little organisms flourishing on this rock because of ideal conditions. No, I don't believe that, I know there is a lot more to our life than we can see/hear/feel, but at the same time, it doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel fair and if God is treating people this badly I wonder what sort of God is running this particular show.
What did we do to deserve this show of strength? Okay, so we polluted the earth. Okay, so we drive cars that pollute the atmosphere...no, I had better stop there. It is too soon for me to be able to adjust my point of view from 'oh shit, look at what has happened'...to 'oh yes, I can understand what has happened and our role in the devastation'.
Dear Guardian Angels, so it had to happen, it was inevitable, please help ease the pain for our Japanese friends as they deal with their loss.
Thank you.

Angel Card Readings and Spirit Connection
As a spirit writer I am often asked questions about spirit; spiritual knowledge; information about 'how to do it'. I often try to answer the questions from my own understanding and experience and then I sit in 'spirit writing' and often the answers that come through for people are very different from my own perspective.
I feel my spiritual work is very rewarding and satisfying for me when I connect with spirit and bring through words that are of significance to the person reading them. Although my readings are confidential, in that, I would never divulge the identity of a person using me for readings, I feel the content of my spirit connections are really available for reading by everyone who has an interest in spirituality.
Spirit writing for other people can be a nerve-wracking experience; sitting quietly at the computer, waiting to connect with spirit to bring images, words, symbols and sometimes images of real spirit people. I cannot say for sure where the information I receive actually comes from. Is it possible that I am imagining the spirit writing that I do? of course, it is possible.. but if I am imagining the writing and the images, there is someone on the other end of the computer imagining the same things.
The old saying - for those who believe, no evidence is necessary and those who don't no evidence is enough certainly holds true when it comes to 'evidence' from spirit.
What may seem like small, insignificant detail to an observer can have great meaning and significance for the person receiving the information. The person you are giving the words to 'just knows' that you have made a connection and the information is about a loved one who has passed or from their spirit guide and people in spirit. Where else could the information have come from? Is it possible that the person having the reading is carrying out a thought form that can be 'read' by a highly sensitive intuitive reader, maybe that is it, maybe one day scientists will be able to reveal that our thoughts have a life of their own and exist in the everyday world and can be shared.
Until the time comes where scientists can show me that I am just tapping into old thought forms that have as much bearing on today's reality as yesterdays snowflakes..I will carry on spirit writing, trusting in the knowledge that there is a spirit world where we all move on to after this body in this particular physical experience has long gone.
Lots of love and light
